School Talks

School talks normally last for one hour, with longer times available for an increased price. When booked, this will allow all equipment except weapons to be accommodated for at your talk. Weapons are NOT available for school talks. If the talk is taking place in a school outside of the standard operating area, extra charges will need to be applied to cover the costs of transport, and when required, overnight accommodation, as described on the Extra Charges page. If air travel is required, then there will be a limit on what can be brought to your booking. E.g. if a booking is received for the Channel Islands, some of the equipment is prohibited from being transported on an aircraft.

Cost: £20 per session

Blurred Event Audience

Public Events

This is for talks that take place outside of a school, but not in a family setting or in a media-organised setting. At these talks, weapons are available to be brought, but a surcharge will be automatically applied. This is for insurance and legal purposes. If weapons are requested, permission will need to be obtained prior to the event being requested or booked. Failure to do so will result in a penalty charge being applied to your booking, and your booking will be cancelled. If the event is to take over a number of days and the talks are to be spread over the event, the event must also be able to provide an area for safe storage and accommodation for Multi-Act Historical Portrayals for their equipment and weapons. These will be within a three meter distance from each other. The same rules apply for this as the standard daily hire, with additional rules to cover the weapons being carried during the event.

Cost: £80 per session

Event Video Recording

Media Events

This is for talks that take place with media present from the outset. We reserve the right to withdraw from these events should a conflict of interest arise. Equally, we reserve the right to refuse a booking should we perseve there to be a conflict of interest with our company values or any of our operational policies.

For the events of this nature that we agree to participate in, we will be willing to grant interviews to media outlets. Understandably, there will be some topics about which we will not answer any questions.

Please note, for these type of talk, our portrayals will generally not be available for use, as we will be required out of common courtesy to wear our standard company uniform.

Cost: £200 per session

Video Conference Call

Virtual Talks

These talks are specifically designed for those who are in care homes or are bed-bound in hospital. For this, we will endeavour to personalise the talk as much as possible. These will be held on Zoom and will generally last for 45 minutes to a hour, dependent on the wishes of the individual or the family (as situation dictates).

If the booking is for someone who is in hospital rather than a care home, then the restrictions put in place for what we can offer in the video call is fewer.

Part of this package may (location dependent) include a visit to the individual or family requesting the booking.

Cost: £10 per session

Group Discussion

Youth Groups

This is, as the name suggests, designed with youth groups in mind; such as Scout Groups, Cadet Groups, Boy's Brigade, Girl's Brigade, Girl Guide Groups. A small selection of equipment/artifacts will be brought to the talk for people to see/handle, with weapons only being available for talks with cadet groups. This is due to cadets having weapon handling training where other groups (particularly Scout Groups) do not have such training.

With Cadet Group talks, there will be more interactive talks when compared to talks given to Scout Groups or Girl Guide Groups, with the opportunity to "have a go" with the equipment on.

Cost: £40 per session
